Without boating experience -
we can arrange for an experienced
operator to accompany you at an additional cost.
Briefing prior to Departure:
A comprehensive briefing will be given prior to departing. The time required
will depend on prior boating experience – your safety is our aim.
Launching & Retrieving:
Tutukaka Boat Hire launch and
retrieve the boat for you at Kowharewa Bay, Tutukaka. Hours are approximately 7.30am to 5.30pm, these times can be altered by agreement depending
on time of year.
Number of People per Boat:
The boat is licensed for a maximum of six people.
Weather:
If the weather is unsuitable for boating on your day of booking we will refund your deposit or you can book another day.
Insurance:
Comprehensive insurance taken out by Tutukaka Boat Hire covers you for loss or damage to the boat or its equipment (beyond hirer's reasonable control) as well as third party cover. $1,000 insurance excess will be payable by the hirer in the event of a claim.
